What This Site Does
This site explains where Ventura County release information may be found and which office controls each record. County jail release questions may involve the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the Pre-Trial Detention Facility, Todd Road Jail, East County Jail, VINE, Ventura Superior Court, or Ventura County Probation. State-prison matters move to CDCR, parole, BPH, or PRCS. Federal and immigration matters use separate federal systems.
The site does not host jail rosters, booking sheets, release records, mugshots, court records, or supervision files. It points to official channels and describes how the records fit together.
What This Site Cannot Do
This site cannot confirm custody, order a release, change a court date, answer for a sheriff's records unit, provide legal advice, correct an official file, or decide who is allowed to receive a restricted record. Juvenile records, booking photos, sealed matters, and some law-enforcement records may have limits that only the record custodian or court can apply.
