The sheriff says East County Jail is open 24 hours, accepts bail bonds and deposits for any person in Ventura County Sheriff's custody, and lists 805-494-8242 for custody questions involving a person held there.
This does not create a separate East County 24-hour release list. It creates a facility-specific contact point while the person may be physically held or processed there. Once the person is released, the same countywide trail applies: sheriff records, VINE, court records, probation or parole if ordered, and CDCR or other agency records if transferred.
Use East County contact details for facility timing, not as proof that a public recent-release feed exists. The countywide release record still comes from the sheriff records path, and the court record remains the best source for the legal reason custody ended.
Ventura Release App Limits
